Two new additions make it easier to introduce your club and join under the name you'd like to use on its leaderboards.
Tell people about your club
Club owners can now add an optional description in Club settings. Tell people what you play, who your community is for, or what makes your club special. The description is public and appears beneath your club's name in club lists, helping people get to know the club before opening it.
Changes save automatically. You can update the description whenever you need to, or clear the field to remove it.
Suggest your player name when joining
Membership requests now include an optional Desired name in this club field. Use it to suggest the name you'd like to appear under on the club's leaderboards, separately from the text that helps the owner recognize you.
The club owner reviews your suggestion when accepting the request:
- For a new player, the name starts with your suggestion, or your recognition text if you leave it blank. The owner can edit it before confirming.
- For an existing active player, the current name stays by default. The owner can explicitly choose to use your requested name while keeping the player's identity, results and ratings intact.
Your proposal applies only to your player name in that club.
